Jason P. Janda is a seasoned real estate tax attorney and the CEO of Rochester Property Group, LLC and MHCommunities, LLC. With a background in law, finance, and acquisitions, he has built a career at the intersection of real estate investment and strategic tax planning. Jason began his journey in real estate after earning a B.S. in Business Administration from USC’s Marshall School of Business, followed by a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School. He later obtained an LL.M. in Taxation, further solidifying his expertise in financial structuring and investment strategy.

His early career included a tenure at R.W. Selby & Co., where he served as in-house counsel before rising to Director of Acquisitions and Head of Investor Relations & Capital Markets. During his time at Selby, Jason played a key role in raising capital and acquiring over $40 million in multifamily assets. He later expanded his expertise into renewable energy investments as Co-Head of Renewable Energy Assets at Landmark Dividend before founding Rochester Property Group, where he has since led the acquisition of 22 manufactured housing communities across eight states.

As a member of the Source Braintrust, Jason brings a wealth of knowledge in real estate tax strategy, acquisitions, capital markets, and investor relations. His deep understanding of financial structuring and asset acquisition helps shape Source Group’s approach to identifying opportunities, optimizing deal structures, and ensuring long-term investment success. 

His insights into emerging asset classes, financing strategies, and tax-efficient investing contribute to Source Group’s mission of creating thoughtful, resilient developments that deliver enduring value to both investors and communities.
